Jane Cordell is a respected Bible teacher with 20 years of experience leading in-depth Bible studies for women. Though she has taught the Bible to everyone from preschoolers to college students to adults, her heart is in mentoring women in their walk with Christ. An accomplished Precept leader, she has led dozens of Precept Upon Precept courses and has written her own material for her church’s women’s retreats. Her blog, Sitting in the Sweet Spot of the Savior, served as the foundation for the lessons in this book. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and currently lives in Natchitoches, LA, with her husband of 36 years.


Tiffany Waters is a close friend who has co-taught Bible studies with Jane for the last six years. She is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Married, the mother of four, and a gifted vocalist, she co-wrote the Sweet Savior blog and has collaborated on several Bible studies and women’s retreats over the last few years. Her infectious enthusiasm is a perfect complement to Jane’s academic rigor, and together they have encouraged many women to dig deep into the Word and apply it in their daily lives. She is currently a homemaker heavily invested in her children’s lives, and in the lives of those hungry for an encounter with God.
